How to connect a car subwoofer to a home amplifier?

How would I fasten my 12" car subwoofer to my Kenwood KA-128 home amplifier. It doesn't have a pre-amp sub output, it has a bunch of the regular inputs, 4 lecturer outputs, and 2 system control jacks. I want to hook up the car subwoofer so that it only plays bass, but when connected to one of the speaker outputs it barely acts as a speaker. Is this do-able?

Not a favourable idea but if your that desperate anything is possible what you need is an amp, you could use a car amp. Then you need a 12 volt converter from Radio Shack and up it in to your amp. Once again not a good idea


Also your House stereo speakers are a different OHM than car speakers
