Why am I getting no sound from my desktop speakers?
I reasonable bought new Logitech Z4 desktop speakers to use with my laptop. Everything is connected properly, and the speakers power on, but there is no sound at all. My older Logitech speakers work objective fine, so I suppose the problem could be with the new speakers themselves or a cable or something. Is there a possibility I need to update a driver or something?
I don't cogitate on it's the driver - if it was, then your older speakers wouldn't work. It sounds to me like there's probably a bad cable somewhere. Take them back to where you got them, bring your laptop with you, and see if you can the Exchange them. Try out the new ones before you leave the store to make sure they work. Good luck!
