I need to find a lightweight power amplifier for live audio?

I demand a lightweight power amplifier for live audio. I've used powered mixers that weigh under ten pounds and i would like to find an independent power amp (without the mixer) that is very slight like the digital powered mixers.

How much power are you looking for? QSC makes a considerable line of what I consider light weight amps. Their PLX series can deliver up to 1700 watts per channel (2 ohms) in a 21 pulp package.

Carvin power amps pack a lot in a fairly small space. The new DCM series can deliver similar power levels from a 15 bray package!
