how can i run my big cerwin-vega home stereo speakers with my laptop?

I have home speakers I bought in the mid '90's and tolerant of until my stereo receiver died. Now I use my laptop for the music. How can I connect the two? The Cerwin-Vegas have great sound that no computer speakers have ever come connect to.

You deep down need to get a new receiver. Then you can just plug your laptop into the aux in.

What's the model number of the Cerwins? They're my favorite brand. A-one low end. I have a set of DX9's that I have had since 1993. They are irreplacable. I use DX1's for my center and surround speakers. Needless to say I don't need a subwoofer...
